In one way or another, we ll eventually understand we are not leading ourselves on our higher path at the moment.
If the Universe or Higher power wants to assist us, it will continue to offer opportunities for shifts. If we don t get it, consequences will follow, starting with an epic fall of humanity. This fall will be another window of opportunity for us but, by this time, things will be so unbearable that we ll find it amazingly difficult to shift/change/heal the damage done.
We have evolved but, make no mistake, our self destructive tendencies and deep rooted sin scene ie having abandoned our true selves, has been and continues to lead us against our small self ie our ego. So what seems to be self punishment and distraction is our true self constantly fighting our ego which exists to assist our survival. Hence, in an effort to save itself, the ego, forever recreates the conditions which makes it a hero.
Understand that right now we have multiple realities on show and is time to decide where you stand and what you choose. I believe, no matter the end result for humanity, the choices we do matter ultimately in what we experience and will happen to us.
Of course this is a massive discussion and I d have to write a whole essay to address all my points above. But stay with me:

Even if things go downhill (even if extinction is at hand), your choices will have played and continue to play a crucial role at your soul journey and evolution.
