Fitness programs. Guidance on exercise.

There are many apps out there to assist you working out but, very few contain programs that actually making sense. It s one thing to be a ballerina yourself and another thing to teach ballet to others.
To take it even further, it s one thing to be an instructor and another to be a teacher.
This world has turned into a big mess.
My opinion is, choose programs that aren t superficial and contain workouts that provide natural progression.
My experience is that the majority of people when instructed, aren t aware of their bodies and make one million mistakes which can
lead to injury. Most of us, also have no idea about what variations of exercises are available/exist which align better with our level of fitness and/or limitations.
I ve always been a lover of one to one sessions (personal training)with a teacher exactly because I wanted programs adjusted to my body and fitness. If you can t afford personal training, I d advise you to register to fitness classes until you acquire some type of body awareness. It s a minimum requirement for exercise.
I used to do dance.
Dancers of the past had and possibly still have a limited involvement in healthy diets and post training rehab.
Unless you are some type of expert yourself, you research and are involved in higher understanding of your body systems, diet and exercise ”mechanics”, please invest in personal training or in person group workouts. The later are not specialized on you because they are set up for a group of people with different needs, yet, they are better than following a video made for the general public, especially if you are a beginner.

P.S. All my life I have met 3 amazing teachers.
My kick boxing teacher when I was 19. He was a kick boxing athlete and physiotherapist. He knew his craft well(retired now)

My Pilates teacher. She was excellent and co-operated with my body in a profound way(she s still active). I was mid 30s when I met her.

Ivan Amaral. Fitness instructor, teacher, personal trainer, yoga teacher also training others to become teachers. Profound knowledge, master level of understanding, guidance and training(has given me basic training in yoga and Aí Chi, also has developed multiple exercise/fitness programs and yoga practices for me)
