Yesterday I heard an interview.
The reporter questioning the woman who is in the Greek AI committee board.

It s my opinion, we can t avoid AI. They are already here. They ll be part of the deep societal infrastructure.*
For years, Amazon uses AI technology in customer service. I m an empath. I always feel the void on the other side of the line. And for people like me, the dangers of AI speak loudly. And I know, we will not avoid them. By the time enough people will realize what s going on, it will be very late.
I love technology. Yet, I always felt it
Meant to create the space for human evolution. What do I mean?
Assist people in their manual work. Make their life easier and, create leisure time… in my world, people have time to be humans. And AI comes in handy to allow for such developments. It wasn t meant to arrive to give us a virtual reality to escape our reality. It wasn t meant to replace working men and throw them into unemployment. This is the beginning of creating an enemy. Our creation will look like a monster. Who s responsible? Us, humans.
The man who doesn t know nor understand history is likely to repeat it.
I have memories of another lifetime of a very advanced technological civilization which failed massively. For as long as we have the God of war within us, we ll be creating Martian technology and abuse it.
When I was 19, I went into martial arts. This year of my life, I developed my body and my mind to think fast and filter my responses. I still believe my teacher was a pro. He saw in me the potential and with it the dangers.
Just before the summer we had exams. When
it was done and I was to leave Athens for summer holidays, he handed me a card and looked at me in the eyes. He said “if anything happens, you should avoid getting involved, you have a gun, others don t”. My mouth dropped. This summer was different because I had changed. Increased self awareness.
When we evolve and get equipped, we carry the responsibility to be self disciplined. Otherwise, we become the abusers, the weapon and the war.
AI? A need to create something like us outside ourselves which may be better than us. Lots of unconscious projections that will provoke us to our core. The minute one individual
weaponizes AI, its development will always be linked to “war”.
